1. Definitions
An Account is a registered user profile. A Business User or Reseller is a shop, trader, company or other commercial user that buys, sells, swaps, repairs, imports, distributes or records goods through Ojú. An End User is an individual using Ojú's consumer services. A Tax Consultant is a professional listed or approved to offer tax-related services.
A Device Identifier includes an IMEI, IMEI1, IMEI2, serial number, service tag, product identifier or another unique identifier. A Stolen-Item Report is an allegation that an item was stolen, lost, misappropriated or connected with a criminal incident. A Verified Report is one reviewed and approved by Ojú or supported by an appropriate authority or evidence.
Personal Data means information capable of identifying a person. Content includes text, photographs, videos, documents, inventory, reviews, comments, prices and other material submitted to Ojú.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms govern access to the Ojú application, website, Progressive Web Application, records, marketplace, payment, verification, review and related services. Ojú is owned and operated by Xpiffmobile Limited, RC 8560480.
By creating an account, accepting these Terms, accessing Ojú, submitting information, making a payment or using a service, you confirm that you can legally enter this agreement, your information is accurate, and you will comply with Nigerian law.
You must not use Ojú for fraud, theft, money laundering, harassment, intimidation, false accusations or any unlawful activity. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use Ojú.
3. Purpose and scope of Ojú
Ojú helps businesses and consumers maintain inventory, record purchases, sales, swaps and repairs, track stock, manage expenses and financial records, create receipts, search marketplace listings, check device identifiers, report stolen items, maintain business profiles and reviews, discover tax consultants, and preserve records for fraud prevention and lawful investigations.
Ojú is a technology and information-management platform. Unless expressly stated, it is not a bank, lender, insurer, police authority, court, credit bureau, guarantor, seller of every listed item, or professional tax, legal, accounting or financial adviser.
4. Accounts, registration and verification
Ojú supports Business User, End User and Tax Consultant accounts. We may request a person's name, contact details, address, state, local government, business registration and CAC details, certificates, government identification, tax details, professional credentials and other information reasonably needed for verification, security or compliance.
Business registration may be checked against the public CAC register. Identity verification may use an approved verification provider when available. A check can be incomplete, delayed or unavailable and is not a guarantee of identity, ownership or good conduct.
Do not use false information, impersonate another person or business, submit altered documents, create accounts to evade restrictions, or share a login. Ojú may reject, restrict, suspend or terminate an account where verification fails or information appears false, incomplete, fraudulent or unlawful.
Except for authorised testing accounts, one account may have only one active device session. Signing in on a new device may sign the previous device out. Business seat limits and permissions depend on the selected plan; counter staff receive only the access assigned by their business administrator.
5. Why identification and business information is collected
We process identification and business information to establish identity and authority, verify businesses, prevent fraudulent registration and impersonation, connect records to the correct person or business, protect users, maintain audit trails, assist lawful stolen-goods or fraud investigations, and meet legal, accounting, security and regulatory obligations.
Identification information is not collected for unrestricted publication. It may be accessed or disclosed only for legitimate, authorised and legally permitted purposes.
6. Privacy and data protection
Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms. It explains the personal data we collect, our purposes and legal bases, what may be public, who receives data, retention, security and your rights under Nigerian data-protection law.
A business recording customer details must give the customer a suitable notice, obtain any consent required for photographs, identification or verification, and use the information only for the transaction, security and lawful record-keeping purposes described.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. Ojú applies reasonable safeguards, but users must protect their passwords and devices and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access.
7. Bank-account and payment information
Where bank-account information is requested, it may be used only for authorised identity or business checks, reconciliation, fraud prevention, transaction confirmation or lawful investigation.
Never submit or publish another person's PIN, OTP, password, complete card details, BVN or confidential banking credentials. Ojú will not ask for passwords, PINs or OTPs through ordinary support messages. Card payments are handled by the displayed payment provider; Ojú does not store card PINs or OTPs.
8. Inventory management
Business Users may record brands, models, IMEIs, serial numbers, storage, colour, condition, purchase cost, reseller and end-user prices, quantity, supplier, customer, location, photographs, accessories and related documents.
Serialized items must be recorded as separate units with their own identifier and relevant specifications. Users are responsible for accurate quantities, identifiers, ownership, pricing and descriptions.
Do not record or list stolen, counterfeit, fraudulently obtained or unlawfully held goods, goods subject to police or court restriction, or goods with altered identifiers. Ojú may block, flag, preserve, remove or investigate suspicious inventory.
9. Intake, stock records, signatures and receipts
During a purchase, sale, swap, repair or stock-entry process, Ojú may collect customer or supplier identity, contact information, device details, identifier, prices, photographs, documents, ownership evidence and signatures. Information entered may be saved for audit, recovery, dispute resolution and fraud prevention.
Receipts may be issued only for eligible items already recorded in stock. Sale, swap and repair receipts may require customer and staff signatures before completion. A customer email address is optional; if supplied, Ojú may send the completed receipt by email. A receipt can still be printed or downloaded without an email address.
Users must check generated receipts, invoices and records. An Ojú-generated document does not by itself prove a transaction unless supported by the underlying records and evidence. Users must not forge or manipulate Ojú-generated documents.
10. Stolen-item and device-verification service
Ojú maintains a shared registry containing reported, pending, approved, rejected, recovered, resolved or disputed items. Records may include identifiers, descriptions, police references, reporting station, investigating officer, dates, photographs, ownership evidence and status.
A search result reflects the records available at that time; it is not a judicial determination of ownership, guilt or innocence. A clean result does not prove lawful ownership, and a match may still require police or human investigation.
Ojú may correct, restrict, approve, reject, resolve or remove a record when new evidence becomes available. Confirmed reports are made public only after Ojú's review and, where required, confirmation with the handling station.
11. Searches that match stolen or suspicious items
When a search matches a reported item, Ojú may preserve the account, date and time, identifier, IP address and device information, business, staff or user details, and relevant intake or transaction information entered before the match.
Relevant information may be sent to authorised Ojú staff, the reporter, the investigating officer, the handling police station or another lawful authority. Disclosure is limited according to the circumstances, investigative need and applicable law.
A search alone does not prove wrongdoing. Ojú distinguishes good-faith checks, routine due diligence, reporter self-checks, suspicious repeated searches and searches connected with an active investigation. Users are not treated as offenders merely for conducting a good-faith search.
12. Reporting stolen items
A report must be truthful and should include the identifier, item description, date and place of loss, police report, station, investigating officer, proof of ownership and reliable contact details. Large losses may be submitted using Ojú's approved spreadsheet process.
Business Users may report a robbed store and review or amend the stock list before submitting the case. Ojú may request further evidence and may reject or delay publication until verification is complete.
False, malicious or misleading reports may be removed and can result in suspension, termination, disclosure to affected parties or authorities, and civil or criminal consequences.
13. Limits of device searches
Ojú cannot guarantee that every stolen item or police report is available, every identifier is correct, every update is immediate, an unlisted item is clean, or a listed item is conclusively stolen. Users must still request proof of ownership and perform reasonable commercial due diligence.
Hardware, battery, Snapchat-ban, identifier, identity and business checks depend on information entered and third-party sources. Results may be incomplete or unavailable and should not replace professional judgement.
14. Marketplace and listings
Businesses may publish selected in-stock items, prices, photographs, location, contact options, websites and social links. Reseller and end-user prices may differ, and access to trade information may depend on account type and industry.
The seller is responsible for ownership, accuracy, condition, availability, delivery, warranty, lawful sale and price. Ojú is not automatically a party to a transaction between users and does not guarantee a listing, seller, buyer, product or outcome.
15. Market-price information
Price comparisons, suggested prices and trends are general guidance only. Actual prices vary with exchange rates, condition, supply, location, import costs, taxes, warranty and demand. Users decide their own prices and Ojú does not guarantee a particular sale price or profit.
16. Reviews and business reputation
A user may leave only one review for a particular business or review subject, but may edit, anonymise or delete that review. Reviews must be honest, relevant, respectful and based on a genuine experience.
Do not use reviews for blackmail, threats, discriminatory abuse, disclosure of private information, knowingly false accusations, rating manipulation or duplicate-account reviews. Ojú may remove or preserve reviews for moderation, disputes, fraud prevention and audit.
Public reviews may identify the reviewer as Anonymous, use a masked name or show a verification label. Authorised Ojú staff may access the underlying account where necessary for moderation, legal compliance or investigation. Reviews are the reviewer's opinion, not Ojú's.
17. Trade and payment-reliability records
Where enabled, Ojú may show objective indicators from verified commercial records, such as completed transactions, payment status, delays or disputes. Ojú is not a credit bureau or court, and this information is not a formal credit report.
Users must not make unsupported criminal accusations. Records may be subject to evidence requirements, correction requests, dispute procedures and human review.
18. Tax consultants and compliance tools
The tax-consultant directory may show practice details, services, states covered, fees, experience, credentials, ratings and verification status. Consultants are independent and responsible for their advice, qualifications, pricing and legal duties. Users should verify credentials before engagement.
Tax reminders, reports, calculators, fiscal-year settings and finance tools are administrative aids, not tax, legal, accounting or financial advice. Users remain responsible for professional advice, correct filings and deadlines.
19. Ojú Verified Inspection
Ojú Verified Inspection is an independent device-check and escrow service. The buyer pays the seller's asking price for the gadget plus Ojú's inspection fee as a single payment. The inspection fee covers the work Ojú performs once the item is received and the report is prepared, regardless of the outcome.
The inspection fee is non-refundable. If the inspection report is accepted and the transaction proceeds, the inspection fee is retained by Ojú as payment for the service rendered. If the buyer rejects the item after inspection, or if the seller or buyer cancels the transaction for any reason after inspection has begun, the buyer is still refunded only the gadget principal; the inspection fee is not returned because Ojú has already carried out the inspection.
Inspections take place only at inspection centres listed by Ojú. When a vendor accepts an inspection request, the vendor selects the listed centre closest to it and brings the items there; buyers cannot nominate their own venue. The centre's full address and a telephone number for directions are shown on the ticket.
Once Ojú has paid the seller for an inspected gadget, the inspection can no longer be cancelled or stopped by the buyer, the seller or Ojú. The money has left Ojú and the gadget must be delivered to the buyer. Any problem after that point is handled as a delivery dispute, a redelivery or a recorded refund case, never as a cancellation.
Delivery fees, where applicable, are shown separately and are also non-refundable once the delivery arrangement has been confirmed and, where required, paid for.
20. Subscriptions, trials, limits and payments
A new Business User receives a 45-day trial during which existing stock may be entered without the normal monthly stock-intake allowance. The selected paid plan's limits, permissions and subscription requirements apply when the trial ends.
Current monthly plans are ₦2,000, ₦5,000 and ₦9,500. The Platform displays the current seat, administrator, inventory and included device-check allowances before purchase. Ojú may change prices, taxes, features or limits with reasonable notice.
The ₦2,000 plan currently includes one login, up to 50 new stock items and 50 included stolen-device checks per month. The ₦5,000 plan currently includes up to three users, 250 new stock items and 200 included checks per month. The ₦9,500 plan currently includes up to 100 users, no monthly stock-intake cap and 500 included checks per month, with no more than 10 business administrators.
Checks beyond a plan allowance and eligible public checks may cost ₦100 each. The price and any applicable tax are displayed before payment. A delivered search is generally non-refundable; verified duplicate charges or payment without delivery may qualify for review.
Payment is processed by an authorised provider. A successful payment does not prevent suspension for fraud, security, law or breach of these Terms. Ojú's internal operating account is subscription-exempt.
21. User Content and ownership
Users retain ownership of Content they lawfully own. By submitting it, they grant Ojú a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, back up, display and use it to provide the selected service, enforce security, moderate content, prevent fraud and comply with law.
The licence ends when Content is deleted, except where retention is required for transactions, receipts, tax, legal, security, audit, dispute or investigative purposes. Users confirm they have the right and any required consent to submit the Content.
22. Prohibited activities
Do not use Ojú unlawfully; upload stolen, counterfeit or fraudulent goods; file false reports; submit false business information; access another account; bypass authentication or subscription limits; attack or reverse engineer the Platform; scrape private data; publish confidential financial or identity information; manipulate reviews; harass users; upload malicious code; impersonate Ojú, a business, consultant, police officer or another person; or use automated systems to abuse searches.
23. Retention, audit trails and investigations
Ojú may retain records after account closure where reasonably necessary for law, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, security, disputes, investigations and enforcement. Audit records may include logins, account and stock changes, searches, reports, payments, reviews, receipts and administrative actions.
Records forming a transaction or security audit trail may be corrected with attribution rather than silently deleted. Access is restricted by role and legitimate purpose.
24. Disclosure to authorities
Ojú may respond to lawful requests from the Nigeria Police Force, courts, regulators, government authorities and authorised investigators, or disclose relevant information where reasonably necessary to investigate theft or fraud, prevent harm, protect users or Ojú, comply with law or enforce these Terms.
Ojú seeks to avoid unnecessary disclosure. Where permitted, affected users may be notified, but notice can be withheld where it would interfere with an investigation or legal duty.
25. No guarantee of police or government action
Ojú does not control whether an authority investigates, arrests, recovers an item, prosecutes or accepts evidence. Users must not represent Ojú as the Police or a government institution unless a formal authorisation expressly permits it.
26. Suspension, termination and account deletion
Ojú may suspend, restrict or terminate access for false information, non-payment after trial or subscription expiry, breach, abuse, suspected fraud or theft, security risk, unlawful conduct or a lawful instruction. Where appropriate, Ojú may allow a response or appeal.
Users other than the protected Ojú internal administrator may request account deletion through account settings. Deletion does not erase records that must be retained for transactions, legal obligations, security, fraud prevention or investigations.
27. Disputes and corrections
Contact Ojú if an inventory record, stolen report, review, personal detail or business profile is inaccurate. We may request evidence, contact affected parties, restrict a record temporarily or conduct a review. A dispute is not guaranteed to be resolved in the complainant's favour.
28. Intellectual property
The Ojú name, logo, software, interface, database structure, branding and original content belong to or are licensed to Xpiffmobile Limited. Users must not copy the software, reproduce branding, resell access, extract the database or use Ojú trademarks misleadingly without permission.
29. Third-party services
Ojú may use payment, email, hosting, analytics, identity-verification, public-register, cloud-storage and messaging providers. Their services may have separate terms. Ojú will take reasonable steps to address disruption but is not responsible for a failure caused solely by an independent provider.
30. Availability and maintenance
Ojú may be unavailable because of maintenance, security updates, network or provider failures, legal requirements or events beyond reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
31. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ojú is provided as available and as is. We do not guarantee every record, stolen-item result, business, listing, consultant, transaction, price or outcome, or that the Platform will prevent every fraud or theft.
To the extent permitted by law, Ojú and Xpiffmobile Limited are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or unforeseeable loss arising from a user transaction, third-party information, theft outside Ojú, a missed registry record, marketplace dispute, insecure user account or temporary unavailability.
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or removes rights under applicable Nigerian consumer law.
32. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, a user indemnifies Xpiffmobile Limited, Ojú and their officers, employees, contractors and providers against claims and losses caused by that user's breach, unlawful activity, false information, rights infringement, misuse, unauthorised sale, false stolen-item report or abusive or defamatory Content.
33. Changes to these Terms
Ojú may update these Terms for new features, legal requirements, security improvements, business changes, payments or data-protection duties. Material changes may be announced in the Platform and may require renewed acceptance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
34. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes are subject to the appropriate Nigerian courts unless applicable law requires another process. The parties should first attempt good-faith resolution through Ojú support.
35. Contact information
Xpiffmobile Limited, owner and operator of Ojú. Head office: Shop 17 & 18, Funmine Castle, FUTA South Gate, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. Email: admin01@xpiffmobilelimited.com. Phone: +234 816 438 8087. Website: www.xpiffmobilelimited.com. Support hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 6:00pm West Africa Time (excluding public holidays).
36. Personal vault, check-ins and next of kin
End User and Tax Consultant accounts may save personal information in a personal vault: website and bank logins, card details, private notes, and documents such as PDFs and images. Everything in the vault — passwords, PINs, notes and whole documents — is encrypted with strong encryption (AES-256-GCM) before it is stored, using a key held only by Ojú's server. It is opened with a vault passcode that you create and that is separate from your sign-in password.
No part of the Ojú app, website or any business account can read encrypted vault content: the database itself refuses those records to every application key, so encrypted entries and documents are unreadable unless the correct vault passcode is supplied. Ojú staff, including administrators, cannot browse, search, list, market or disclose vault content, and it is never shown to any business. Access is limited to you, and to a next of kin only through a release you set up yourself. Repeated wrong passcodes lock the vault temporarily, and every opening, failed attempt and release is recorded.
You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of what you save. Do not place in the vault anything you are not entitled to hold, including another person's banking credentials or identity documents obtained without their consent. Ojú may remove content that is unlawful or that breaches these Terms.
If you set up check-ins you must name a next of kin and supply a valid email address for them. You choose how often you check in, how far apart the three reminder emails are sent, how many missed check-ins in a row trigger a release, whether your next of kin receives everything in your vault or only the entries you tick, and whether they also receive a way into your Ojú account. Reminders are sent to the email address on your account; keeping that address current and receiving our email is your responsibility.
Missing all three reminders for a cycle counts as one missed check-in. When the number of missed check-ins you set is reached, Ojú releases the information you selected to your named next of kin by email and by a one-time secure link that expires. If you chose to release account access, your Ojú password is reset and the new password is sent to your next of kin. You are notified by email and in the app whenever a release happens, and you may check in, change your password or change your settings at any time.
A release follows your own instructions and is automatic. Ojú does not verify death, incapacity, the identity of the person holding your next of kin's email, or how the released information is later used, and does not act as an executor, trustee, lawyer or estate administrator. A release is not a legal transfer of ownership of anything and does not override a will or any court order. You can pause check-ins, change your next of kin or remove vault entries at any time, and you should keep these settings current.
Ojú is not liable for loss arising from information you chose to release, from a next of kin's email account being compromised, from reminders you did not read, or from a passcode you forget; a forgotten vault passcode cannot be recovered by Ojú.
37. Bank-account name verification
When you report a stolen item, dispute a case, or sell or swap an item at a shop, Ojú may confirm the account holder's name by checking the bank code and 10-digit account number with our payment provider (Paystack). The name returned by the bank is recorded as the verified name and cannot be typed or changed by you or by shop staff.
Only the verified name, bank name and the last four digits of the account are kept with the record. A name check does not move money, does not prove ownership of an item and may be unavailable when the bank or provider is unavailable.
38. Ojú Verified stolen reports and verification levels
Stolen reports are reviewed by Ojú before they become public. A report needs a police extract, a bank-verified reporter name and a signed declaration that the information is true. Supporting proof such as a purchase receipt or affidavit may be added at any time and is never deleted.
Each public report shows a verification level: 70% (proof of ownership and bank-verified identity confirmed), 88% (police extract or court affidavit received but not yet verified with the police) or 100% (fully confirmed with the handling police station). Only Ojú can set or change a level. A level is an indication of the evidence reviewed, not a court finding.
39. Disputing a stolen report
Anyone who believes a report is wrong may dispute it from the stolen-item registry or the personal portal. A dispute requires a bank-verified name, one to three supporting proofs and a signed declaration. Each dispute receives a permanent reference.
The reporter is given seven business days to respond. While a dispute is open the report is marked as disputed. Ojú reviews both sides and decides the outcome; disputes, evidence and decisions are kept permanently for audit and cannot be deleted. False disputes carry the same consequences as false reports.
40. Public registry launch date
Public searches of the stolen-item registry open on 30 October 2026. Until then, searching is closed for everyone while records are gathered. Reporting a stolen item and disputing a case stay open, and shops continue to have every item checked automatically during intake. Paid public checks are not sold before the launch date.
41. Ojú Agent programme
Anyone may apply to become an Ojú Agent after watching the full training video. An agent code can be used only when a business (reseller) account is created; it does not apply to personal accounts. Rewards are earned only after the business account is successfully created.
An agent earns ₦200 once for each referred business that registers with a verified CAC certificate, and 10% of that business's first paid subscription only. Free trials and renewals earn nothing. Earnings become payable after the stated holding period and are paid by Ojú to the agent's registered account. Ojú may withhold or reverse rewards obtained through fraud, self-referral or false information.
42. CAC certificate reuse
A CAC registration number may be linked to only one active business account. When a business account is deleted, its CAC number cannot be used for any new Ojú account for 30 days, even if the old records have been cleared.
43. Ojú Pulse community feed, moderation and safety
Ojú Pulse lets signed-in users post updates, photos, stickers, comments, reposts and quotes. Verified and unverified badges and the author shown on a post are set by Ojú and cannot be chosen by users. Do not post false theft claims, private information, abuse or unlawful content.
43.1 Suitable for all ages. Users are free to express lawful opinions. Nudity and sexually explicit material of any kind are not allowed and are checked on the user's own device before a photo is uploaded. Swimwear, gym and sports clothing are allowed.
43.2 Sensitive content. Photos showing injuries, blood, accidents or crime scenes shared as genuine evidence must be marked Graphic / sensitive and are shown behind a cover that viewers tap to open or skip. Extreme cruelty, mob violence and lynching are not allowed. A post reported by three (3) or more people is shown behind a "Reported content under review" cover.
43.3 Review and holds. A post reported by ten (10) or more people is held from feeds until the Ojú team reviews it. The time a post spends held does not count against its reach if it is restored. The Ojú team may restore a post as it was, restore it behind a sensitive cover, or remove it.
43.4 Final decisions. Once the Ojú team has reviewed a post, that decision is final. Later reports are recorded but do not hide the post again or send it back for review.
43.5 Posting suspensions, never permanent bans. Breaking these rules pauses only the ability to post, comment and report on Pulse: one (1) day for a first offence, then three (3) days, seven (7) days, and at most fourteen (14) days for each later offence. Ojú does not permanently ban accounts from Pulse. Inventory, receipts, device checks, documents and wallets keep working during a suspension.
43.6 False reporting. Reporting posts to harass, silence or damage others is not allowed. Each account that reports a post the Ojú team restores as compliant receives a false-report record; every ten (10) false reports leads to a Pulse suspension on the same scale, up to fourteen (14) days, and the user is told why.
43.7 Blocking. Any user may block another account for seven (7) days, thirty (30) days or permanently. A blocked account's posts are hidden from the person who blocked it until the block ends or is removed. A user who reports a post no longer sees it.
44. Next-of-kin releases and company access
When a next of kin is given access to a personal account, that account's access to every company workspace is frozen first. A next of kin can never enter a business workspace. Only a company administrator or the Ojú team can reinstate or remove that access.
45. Cowries and third-party transactions
45.1 In-app points only. Cowries (🐚) are digital points that can be earned, sent, received and spent only inside Ojú, for example on post boosts and Game Arena play. Cowries have no cash value from Ojú or Xpiffmobile Limited and cannot be cashed out, redeemed or refunded in Naira through Ojú.
45.2 Buying Cowries from Ojú. You may buy Cowries from Ojú in Naira through Paystack at ₦1 for 1 Cowrie, from ₦1,000 to ₦1,000,000 per purchase. Cowries are added only after Paystack confirms the full payment. Bought Cowries are digital entertainment points for use inside Ojú only: purchases are final and non-refundable except where the law requires, and Ojú never buys Cowries back, redeems them or pays them out in Naira. Neither Ojú nor Xpiffmobile Limited runs a Cowries exchange or appoints, endorses or partners with any person or website that buys or sells Cowries; any trade with another person or an outside website is a private arrangement made entirely at the user's own risk.
45.3 No liability for outside trades. Ojú and Xpiffmobile Limited are not responsible for any payment, bank delay, reversal, name or amount mismatch, fraud, scam or loss arising from such arrangements, and Ojú support cannot recover Naira paid to anyone outside Ojú. A transfer of Cowries between Ojú accounts is final once sent.
45.4 Promotional Cowries. Welcome bonuses and other promotional Cowries are given for use in Ojú games and features only and may be limited or withdrawn where they were obtained through fraud, duplicate accounts or other abuse.
45.5 Misuse. Using Cowries for fraud, money laundering, any betting, wagering or gambling arrangement, or to receive proceeds of crime is not allowed. Ojú may freeze or reverse Cowries connected with such activity and may share relevant records with lawful authorities.
45.6 Transfer fee. Sending Cowries to another person, or paying their request, costs a transfer fee of 2.5% of the amount, at least 5 and at most 1,250 Cowries, paid by the sender on top of the amount. The fee is shown before you confirm and is not refundable.
45.7 Free-to-play Game Arena. Game Arena matches are free to enter and play. Ojú does not offer or allow stakes, bets, wagers, entry pots, crowd predictions or any other arrangement in which a player or watcher puts up Cowries that are paid to someone else because of a match result, and Ojú takes no fee or share from any match result. The Ojú win bonus is a promotional reward paid by Ojú from its own Cowries: 100 Cowries on each of a player's first three wins in a Lagos calendar day, at most 300 Cowries a day; no other player contributes to it or loses Cowries because of it. In Fill Up the JAR, Cowries a fan sends are a gift to the creator they choose, whatever the result; the creator receives 92.5% and 7.5% is a gift fee for the Ojú game treasury. Gifts cannot be undone.
45.8 Wallet plans. Every account is on the free Òṣèré plan unless it buys a paid wallet plan (Ọ̀gá Ojú, Ọ̀gá Ọ̀gá Ojú or Ọba). Each plan sets how many Cowries a wallet may hold, how many it may receive by transfer each month, and how many transfers it may make. Game rewards paid by Ojú never count toward these limits. If a balance is above the plan's holding limit, the Cowries stay safe but sending and receiving are paused until the wallet is upgraded. Plans are private and are never shown to other users.
45.9 Paying for a wallet plan. Wallet plans are paid in Naira through Paystack, plus 7.5% VAT, for 30 days or one year at a time, and do not renew automatically. You are paying for wallet capacity on Ojú only; a plan does not buy Cowries or give Cowries any cash value. Plan fees are not refundable once the plan has started, except where the law requires.
45.10 The Gauntlet. After five free practice wins against five different people, you may buy a Gauntlet ticket with Cowries. One ticket buys one run: ten counted wins before three counted losses earns that level's advertised Cowrie jackpot, paid by Ojú, and opens the next level; three losses end the run. Only finished one-versus-one matches that were really played count, between two players on runs at the same level, and each opponent counts once per run. Tickets are used up when bought and are not refundable. Ojú may void results and withhold jackpots connected with collusion, duplicate accounts or other abuse.
45.11 Cowrie Rain. Players may pledge Cowries before or during a match to fall as shells for the watching crowd when the match ends, whatever the result. Pledges cannot be withdrawn and are returned only if the match is called off or nobody qualified to catch. When nothing is pledged and at least ten people watched, Ojú may drop up to 100 Cowries. Only people who watched at least 20 seconds can catch; each shell goes to the first person to tap it, and shells nobody catches go to the Ojú game treasury. Automated tapping is not allowed.
46. User acknowledgement
By clicking Create Account, Sign Up, Continue or Accept, or by continuing to use Ojú after these Terms are presented, you confirm that you have read and understood them, will submit accurate and lawful information, understand that security and transaction activities may be recorded, and understand that relevant information may be disclosed to lawful authorities where permitted or required.
